Cold water fish are excellent for eating if you are wanting to combat depression. Tuna, trout, mackerel, herring and wild salmon are all high in omega-3 fatty acids and DHA. These are two things that actually help the grey matter in your brain function a lot better. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can earnestly boost your mood.
Grains can be good for fighting a terrible mood. Millet, quinoa, barley, etc are terrific at helping you be happier. They help you feel full too which can actually help to better your mood. Feeling starved can truly make you feel terrible! These grains can improve your mood because it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps raise your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, raises your mood.
Your mood could truly be helped by green tea. You were simply anticipating to read that here, weren’t you? Green tea is found to be chock-full of an amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid essentially stimulates brain waves. This helps sharpen your mental energy while at the same time calming your body.
