Hello everybody, it’s John, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, mizu yokan. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I will make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Mizu Yokan is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Mizu Yokan is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

Mizu Yokan is a traditional Japanese dessert, or wagashi, as it is known in Japanese cuisine. Yokan is a general term which refers to this jelly dessert made of red azuki beans, agar, and sugar. The red azuki beans are in the form of tsubuan (smooth red bean paste) or koshian (coarse red bean paste). Mizu Yokan When the proportion of water content is higher, the jelly is called Mizu Yokan (水ようかん), as mizu means "water" in Japanese.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can have mizu yokan using 5 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Mizu Yokan:
  1. Prepare 1 cup water
  2. Prepare 1 tsp sugar
  3. Get 1 sachet agar-agar/kanten (7 gr)
  4. Make ready 1 cup azuki paste (red bean paste)
  5. Take 1 pinch salt

There are several flavors of Yokan in Japan. For example, Red bean, white kidney bean, chestnuts, persimmons, sweet potato, and so on. Yokan in Japanese or yang'geng in Chinese is a pastry based on azuki bean paste and gelling agent (agar-agar or gelatin). Mizu yokan is a light Japanese summer dessert made with red bean paste and agar-agar.

Instructions to make Mizu Yokan:
  1. Mix water, sugar, and agar-agar. Use medium heat. Stir continuously until it boils.
  2. Turn off the heat. Add salt and mix well.
  3. Add azuki paste and mix well, stirring until the mixture is even in color and texture.
  4. Pour into mold. Cut when it is firm.

Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that promote the quality and the function of your brain’s gray matter. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can actually help you overcome depression.

Some grains are really excellent for repelling bad moods. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all actually great for helping increase your happiness levels. They can help you feel full for longer as well, which is a mood improver. It’s easy to feel a little bit off when you feel famished! The reason these grains are so wonderful for your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. You digest these grains faster than other things which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were sure green tea had to be in this article somewhere, right? Green tea is loaded with an amino acid known as L-theanine. Research has found that this amino acid stimulates the production of brain waves. This helps better your mental sharpness while relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not difficult to become healthy when you drink green tea. And now you are aware that green tea can help raise your mood also!
